To service an ever expanding business Drycleanit has built a custom facility in Bagnalstown. The facility constructed to the highest standards has been designed around the dry-cleaning process and has been licensed by the local authority under the European Directive 199/13/EC. All staff are trained to the highest standards and the company has established links with SATRA, the UK standards training body. This process ensures the company is abreast of the latest technologies in dry-cleaning and that staff are always current with best practices in the industry. The plant has been sized such that occasional equipment issues do not impact on customer service.
This unique business model has allowed the company to offer an ever expanding range of additional complementary retail services, to augment the traditional dry-cleaning sales. The stereotype high street drycleaners typically has machines that take up valuable retail space. The environment is hot, cramped and the smell of chemicals is not good for customers, and or staff.
The company’s retail services include not only Dry-cleaning and Laundry, but a professional alterations service.

Backround
Drycleanit first entered the industry in 2003, purchasing its first outlet in Kilkenny. The company management were fortunate to retain a number of key staff and further augmented their many years of experience with professional training. From an in-depth study of the industry, in particular new European directives, higher customer expectations and the ever increasing operating costs, it became clear that over the next few years the industry was going to become heavily regulated from a health & safety aspect and from the EPA with respect to emissions.
The trend in the UK and Mainland Europe over the last few years has been towards centralised operations. Centralising operations to a new 4000 ft2 production facility has allowed management to concentrate all the expertise under one roof, effectively manage quality and control operating costs. This combined with an ongoing investment in staff training ensures drycleanit provides a superior quality service to all customers.
This investment in central processing has allowed the company to provide safe quality, working conditions for its employees. Gone are the days of cramped, badly ventilated and poor health & safety conditions. This ongoing investment in its staff has resulted in higher levels of performance and quality.
The additional space now available in the retail shops has been renovated to the highest standards, matching that of any of the major high street stores, allowing for the addition of complementary services to include an alterations & repairs. |

DryCleanIt.com prides itself on the special care dedicated to each item. Wedding Dresses are a speciality and the utmost attention is given to this special gown. The company offers a nationwide service for Wedding Dresses and typically arranges for the dress to be picked up by courier from the hotel and returns the dress to the bride on her return from honeymoon. The dress is suitable packaged to ensure is preservation as a memento of the once in a lifetime day.
Alterations & Repairs
We specialise in the alteration and repair of mens and ladies clothing to a high quality. We undertake repairs for the general public, commercial customers and small businesses.All of our customers receive the same personal attention and friendly advice that we are known and respected for.
Drycleanit has a team of trained and experienced seamstresses headed up by a master craftsperson with in excess of thirty years in the business. Each location has an on site alterations expert for those immediate jobs.
